  2. 4 brown bread slices
  3. 1/2 cup crumbled cottage cheese or paneer
  4. 1 cup Curd
  5. 2 tbsp chopped mixed nuts(almonds, cashews, raisins and dried figs)
  6. 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  7. 1/2 green chilli finely chopped
  8. leaves Some Fresh coriander
  9. As required Tamarind chutney
  10. As required Mint-coriander chutney
  11. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  12. 1/4 tsp bhuna jeera powder
  13. 1/4 tsp lemon juice
  14. to taste Salt
  15. Some Sev for garnishing
  16. Some Pomegranate arils to garnish

Steps to make to make Bread dahi bhalla

  1. Beat the curd well and keep aside.
    Cut the bread slices with a round cookie cutter, a katori or a lid and keep aside.
    Now combine crumbled cottage cheese, salt, red chilli powder, bhuna jeera powder, dry fruits, green chilli, lemon juice, coriander leaves and ginger and mix well.
  2. Take one round slice of bread and spread the filling evenly on it. Cover the filling with another slice and press gently to make a sandwich. Repeat the same process with rest of the slices.Now place the bread bhalla on the plate and pour curd all over it followed by tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney. Sprinkle some salt, red chilli powder and bhuna jeera powder to enhance the taste.
  3. Now garnish it with fresh coriander leaves, sev and pomegranate arils and serve.
